  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 230 g / 8 oz mixed beans
  • 150 g / 5 oz sweet corn
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper

  1. Peel and chop 1 clove of garlic and 1 small onion and fry them soft in a pot with a little water.
  2. Pour in 400 ml / 1 3/4 cup water, 1 vegetable stock cube, 230 g / 8 oz beans (drain first) and 150 g / 5 oz sweet corn (drain this too first). Season with 1 pinch salt and 0.5 tsp pepper. Boil for 3-4 minutes. Done.
